Sorry I haven't been in touch in a while. Been extremely busy and on the road doing everything I can to support the BIG SKY release!
Last week I was in the Midwest doing radio promo! Met some really cool people at the stations I visted: WTTS 92.3 World Class Rock in Bloomington, IN and WMMM 105.5 Triple M in Madison, WI. Triple M is even featuring me on their site! CLICK HERE to check it out and please post a comment letting them know you want to hear more of MY music on their station!
Right now I am writing from a hotel room in South Jersey. I have been on the road since Monday hitting North East radio. Tuesday morning I did an on air interview and performance at WCLZ Portland, ME which went spectacular!! From there it was straight to Springfield, MA to perform for the great people over at WRNX. And I wasn't done there!
Today I played for the folks at WXRV in Boston. So far each and everyone of these stations has been super receptive and welcoming! It has really been a great (yet tiring) trip so far! Tomorrow it is off to Philly to visit WXPN and then straight down to DC to perform for "Border Crossings" on Voice Of America!!
Then its back home but still no rest!
Saturday, I've got a double headed!! Wes and I will be doing an in-Store performance at the Best Buy Musical Instrument store in Ann Arbor at 2 pm so please stop by! Later on it's Saturday night at Gilberts!!
Monday, I will be back at the Black Pearl in Ann Arbor! If you havn't been yet I definitely reccomend stopping by- it is a great new place with AMAZING food!! Tuesday, it is off to the West Coast for meetings, hopefully a couple gigs and MORE.

Another busy week! I was in LA yesterday to do an interview with In-Flight services. I sat down and talked about the album and some of my favorite tracks. They are also going to make me a "Featured Artist" in an upcoming month. So if you are flying Continental or American Airlines keep an eye out for yours truly!
From LA to Chicago today to perform the FYE Regional Meeting! I was the only artist invited to play and that is an amazing feeling!
Back to Detroit later on today for my shows at Andiamos this week!

Thank you!
Hey Everyone,
This is a note to say- Thank you. Thank you. Thank you ALL for making last week such a huge success! Here's a little rundown of how everything went...
I stopped by 93.9 The River on Monday to see my old friend Gynp (whom some of you may have also recognized in the first scene of GRABTIME!) and play some tunes. Hope some of you were able to tune in. Special thanks to everyone at The River and The River Roadies for all the support they have given and continue to give this release!
Tuesday morning it was off to FOX 2 to perform the morning show with Wes and Terry. Thanks to Al Johnson for making this possible and the unwavering support over the years!
Tuesday evening off to FYE for an in-store at the Macomb Mall which went AMAZING! Thanks to everyone who made it out- it was great to see all your smiling faces! It was a surreal thing to see "Big Sky" at #1 on the racks in the store ahead of Metallica, Lil Wayne, and Kid Rock! I will post a photo when I can- definitely not something I will soon forget.
Wednesday we hit up the Borders in Ann Arbor. Not as many people made it out here but we certainly picked up a few new fans!!
Thursday- Release Party part I! Not only was I up on stage surrounded by fantastic musicians playing some of my favorite tracks off "Big Sky" but it was also the premiere screening of GRABTIME! I was really anxious for everyone to see this! From the feedback I have received so far I think everyone enjoyed it! My eternal gratitude to Robin Davey, producer and editor extraordinaire, for making this dream (I didn't know I had) a reality!
Friday was a much needed day off and Saturday was Release Party and GRABTIME screening Part 2!! This was one of the best nights I've had in a long time! Thank you to all my friends and family for coming out. To everyone at The Sandbar and in the Troup family for making this surreal night real. To Corey, Terry, and everyone at The Mix 96.7 and Blackburn radio for believing and sharing that belief with your listeners. I know how much work goes into a night like this and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
The train is not stopping here and things are definitely not slowing down!! More to come soon.

"BIG SKY" OUT NOW!
Hey Everyone,
"Big Sky" is in stores TODAY! I think I've been waiting 4 years to say that. Thank you to all of you for all the love and support you've given me over the years- I truly could not have put this record out without you and I am eternally grateful. NOW- go get your copy!!
I am in Baltimore right now. We are getting ready to head out to an in-store at the Sound Garden here and then tomorrow it is off to the ‘Noise In The Basement’ Convention, where I’ll perform a special acoustic showcase gig – this is biggest indie retail store convention of the year! Then it’s back home to get ready for Release Party Week!
It's going to be busy but great! There are a bunch of people coming in from out of town- thanks guys!! Here is a little run down of how that week will go:
Tuesday 23rd: - Tune in to the Fox 2 News at 8:00 am to catch my performance and interview with the morning team there! Then later that day (at 6 pm) I will be at the FYE in Macomb Mall sponsored by THE RIVER 93.9 for a performance and autograph signing! Please stop by and say hello (and of course pick up your copy of “Big Sky”)! Anyone who buys a copy of the album here is guaranteed a ticket to get into Thursday’s CD release party
Wednesday 24th - Another in-store and signing- this time at the Borders in Ann Arbor located at 612 E Liberty, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. Call 734-668-7652 for more info.
Thursday 25th - The US Release Party at Fifth Ave in Royal Oak!! First, will be the premiere of my documentary GRABTIME. I am really excited for everyone to see this. It is kind of like a behind the scenes look at the journey that brought me to where I am today. Thanks to Robin Davey for making this a reality! After the screening, a full band performance and I think it is safe to say we are ALL really looking forward to it! The River Roadies from 93.9FM will also be there - so come by have a great time AND get free stuff! Just a reminder - admission to this party is via your receipt from purchasing "Big Sky" at one of the 9 Detroit area FYE stores (listed on my site) - including those bought at the in-store on Tuesday!
Friday- rehearsals and preparation for Saturday!
Saturday 27th - The Canadian Release Party at The Sandbar! Admission to this event is FREE- it is a special thank-you celebration to all of you who have supported me all this time. Although the album won't be released in Canada until September 30- cd's will be for sale here! Again, we will start with a GRABTIME screening and end with a full band performance!! Corey from The MIX 96.7 will be the MC that night. Tune into the MIX all next week for your chance to win VIP passes to the party- this will include a special VIP viewing area, dinner, a copy of “Big Sky” and more!! It should be a great time!

Countdown to release day!!
Hey Everyone,
With less than a week left until "Big Sky" hits stores things have really started to pick up!
I was in upstate New York last week for the Transworld Convention. I got to play a few tracks off "Big Sky" and meet some really cool people. Thanks to everyone at Transworld for this amazing opportunity!!
Next week is set to be one of my busiest yet. First and foremost "Big Sky" hit stores next Tuesday, September 16!! This will be my first national release and I couldn't be more proud! I have a great team behind me on this one and I feel so honored and appreciative for everything they have done to set this up for me. Thanks guys- from the bottom of my heart.
No rest for the weary! In support of the album release I will be doing an in-store performance and autograph signing at Sound Garden records in Baltimore at 6 pm on release day. I will spend the remainder of release week in Baltimore at the Noise In The Basement Convention where I have another opportunity to show the retailers what I can do!
